COM314 - Blog Post 01

My goal for this ePortfolio is to turn it into something I can use for professional purposes. As of right now, it's just "the thing I did for my class," but I think I could develop it into a proper professional portfolio by the end of the semester. I'm not very confident in my professional presence right now, so I think this could be something I potentially add to my list of necessary professional materials. I hope that this can be viewed as a display of who I am as a person, as well as a showcase of the things I excel in.

The most difficult part of creating this Wix site was trying to navigate the user interface to figure out how to edit different elements. At first, it all felt like a big Word document. However, where I started getting hung up was trying to change the functions of buttons and redesigning the template pages in a way that would better suit a college class. The original template was set up like a graphic designer's portfolio, so I had to redesign it to make it more suitable for a student. As of now, I don't have any questions, and I hope we can have a good semester!
